It's been a strange old week...
First, I finally finished the first draft of The Concrete Grove. I'm really happy with this, and am confident that the editing process will shape it into something very special indeed. I've already started work on the next book, and it feels good. I have the rhythm of the three books in my head now, so hopefully the next two won't be as tough to write as the first.
On a sour note, in my day job I've had my salary slashed by 20% because of this damned recession. Things are looking bleak.
But, hey-ho; things are bad all over. This is the uncertain world we now live in. It's all food for the beast: inspiration for the stories I write.
