Grieve No More

I'm delighted to announce that my novella The Grieving Stones has found a new home. Graeme Reynolds has bought it for his ambitious Horrific Tales imprint. The novella will be published in simultaneous hardback, eBook and audio editions around the middle of 2016.

More news when I have it.

Any ideas what happens with my pre-order with Spectral Press for TGS?

Sad about Spectral Press. I'd pre-ordered this book from them back at the beginning of November. I emailed last week offering for the funds to be used against other books already in stock. Haven't heard back. Should I email them again and just request a refund this time? Glad the book's found a new home!

That's excellent! I am one of the people who pre-ordered the hardback from Spectral Press, so I shall eagerly await news of the Horrific Tales hardback. Very best of luck, Gina.

Sorry to hear that Spectral are still fucking people over. Please see my latest blog post (dated 18.02.16) for all the info I have.

Well it isn't really fucking people over, is it? It's called life - shit happens! But you must live in a parallel Universe where everything is perfect in Sunderland?

I have already dealt with Gina on several issues so not so shoddy and Liz Marshall-Jones is repaying rest at end of month.

I think it is unfair of you to say that Spectral is doing anything wrong Gary. As you know Simon has been unwell and Gary Compton is working hard to try and sort things out - as well as running his own business. Simon worked very hard on his own and took on too much. I think it's as well to remember that whatever anyone may have lost - and Gary is working hard to do what he can - Simon has lost everything.
