So I'm finally rattling off the final edits on my short apocalyptic novel The End.
The book is due to be launched at FantasyCon this September, and I'm really happy with how it's turned out. Brutal, scary, intimate, intense, it's the story of a small group of people trying to get from London to Yorkshire as a suicide virus grips the UK. The novel is my version of those gritty little 1970s plague movies like The Crazies, Rabid and countless others that terrified me so much in my teens.
Note:
The lovely artwork seen above isn't the final cover, but a "placeholder" designed by my good friend Mark West (and used with permission).
