2011: The Year I Make Contact

I have a lot of things planned this year, and with a fair wind and godspeed at least one of them might pay off and be a success.

Three novels will see the light of day:

The End (Newcon Press)
Dead Bad Things (Angry Robot)
The Concrete Grove (Solaris)

I also have a few substantial anthology commitments. One of them - a high-profile US indie release - will see 3 or 4 of my stories sitting alongside work by one of my literary heroes. I can't say any more about this, but I'm very excited. Then there's another US book that's basically a dream project for a lover of grindhouse cinema like me. Again, that's all I can say, but believe me when I tell you it's going to be a good 'un.

I'll also be working on a new novel called The Quiet Room, which my agent will be pitching to major publishers....so, fingers crossed for that one.

Yesterday I had a story called Everybody Floats accepted for a UK anthology called Alt-Dead, and I hope to have even more short fiction making appearances as the year unfolds.

Because this year I plan to become prolific.
