Okay, this week sees me attempting to update this blog every Monday, even it it's just a brief post about nothing.
I've just completed the edits on a new short story - called Inside Out - and have sent it to the magazine whose editor invited me to submit. Fingers crossed.
Work continues on the novel. Slowly, surely, and painfully - as usual.
I've also been re-reading Alan Garner's The Weirdstone of Brisingamen and The Moon of Gomrath, and rediscovering how truly wonderful they are. Garner's work was an important literary stepping-stone for me when I was a kid, and it's great to know that these books still hold that kind of power.
